Hello:

You are invited to participate in our Job Analysis Questionnaire for Computer Programmers. In this survey, experienced Computer Programmers will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about Job Tasks, Work Activities, and Contextual Performance Behaviors that occur in Computer Programming Jobs. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

The primary purpose of this questionnaire is to identify the tasks, work activities, and contextual behaviors that are required for successful job performance in Computer Programmer jobs. This information is necessary to ensure that selection tests for Computer Programmers are appropriate, job-related, and in compliance with federal and state laws regarding employment testing.

Information about the specific tasks, work activities and contextual behaviors are being collected from individuals, such as yourself, who are very familiar with Computer Programming jobs (e.g., individuals who currently perform the job or supervise those who perform the job). Please take the time to provide thorough, well-thought-out responses to each item in the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks, however, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Benjamin Tryba at [email protected].

Thank you very much for your time and support. There are three sections to this questionnaire, and each will begin with more specific instructions. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.

Thank you for your participation!
