Hi everyone, 
Please take a couple minutes to fill out this very short survey that will help the external affairs committee hit the group running on our upcoming fundraising event.  Here are some general details from Sophie:

· I have been advertising the ticket prices and sponsorship levels already.  I am still working on an event flyer and plan to send out a constant contact blast by Friday or Monday. Sarah Jane & The Blue Notes are having a CD release performance at The Venice Café this Friday. I think promoting her as the entertainment will be a good marketing strategy for the general public that may not be drawn to the event because it is 20th Anniversary of JCCP.

· The contract with Sarah Jane & The Blue Notes has been signed with a tentative play schedule outlined as 45 minutes of play with a 15 minute break(music playing or not…during the break & this time is flexible. Please review a base event time line below:

o 6:30 pm Doors open
o 7 :00 – 7:30 Brief welcome of the evening & dinner is served(until 8)
o 7:30 – 8:15 Sarah Jane & The Blue Notes
o 8:15 – 8:30 JCCP time
o 8:30 – 9:15 Sarah Jane & The Blue Notes
o 9:15 – 9:30 JCCP time
o 9:30 – 10: 15 (since this is the last set…it may possibly run a little over)
o 10:15 – 11:00 JCCP time to wrap up the evening

Based upon this schedule, we would have plenty of time for recognition of whatever is decided, promote raffles/silent auction and JCCP programs.

· I spoke with Donna Lawson @ Eagle Bank – Festus/Arnold and she pledge $1000 maybe $1500. The $1000 would go toward $750 (silver) sponsorship & $300 toward auction & raffles items. I am still waiting to hear back from Patrick Higgins @ Commerce Bank. He is trying to decide if we have received our allotted annual support, from Commerce, due to the $5000 Stupp Foundation award(for TPN) in October 2014…OR…if he will tap into a local community pot. If anyone knows Pat…maybe they can help seal the deal.

· I am updating past sponsorship letters to get out next week.

· At this point, the foundation of the event is good (Venue, food & drink, entertainment). It looks like our major goals are to seek sponsors & sell tickets (at least 150) & decide how to present the program on the night of the event.

· My greatest challenge at this time…I have six federal/state/foundation grants due by March 31st. Creating the flyers, tickets, web page…etc is very time consuming. I typically work with publisher for paper promotion, constant contact for email promotion. If anyone know of a creative soul that could help with the graphic design of our event them …that would be a huge help.
