The Institute of Internal Auditors Canada (IIAC), in partnership with Crowe Risk Consulting, welcomes you to the inaugural edition of the Mastering Risk Survey. Both organizations are highly committed to providing Canadian-specific thought leadership in the fields of internal audit and risk management and, equally, to recognizing and promoting Canadian leadership in this field. The Mastering Risk Survey will provide critical data for use in the development of Canadian research and a national award for excellence in risk and audit management practices in Canada, to be presented on October 15, 2015.
This online survey will allow us to understand the realities and market trends for overall risk management, controls, and internal audit as perceived by executives responsible for these functions in organizations across Canada. Researchers will also be meeting with multiple Audit Committee members to compare and contrast their perspectives with those of risk management, controls, and internal audit professionals. Organizations which appear to be on the leading edge will be invited to provide in-depth information on their programs, judged by an independent and eminent jury, leading to National Awards in Mastering Risk.
Your input is very valuable. We expect that you will need between 20 to 30 minutes to complete this survey and your responses will remain strictly confidential. Please don’t hesitate to forward this to your organization’s risk professionals for their input as well.
The results of the Mastering Risk Survey will be published in a report including analysis, commentary and case studies which we will send to all participants. Thank you in advance for your time and participation in this flagship Canadian research initiative.
