Music in Schools

Hello! Thank you so much for helping Music Masters in its research on music in UK schools. This survey is mainly aimed at primary schools, but if you work in a secondary school we would also be very interested in your input.

The survey should take you around 15 minutes to complete. If you want to save and continue later, that's fine - just follow the prompts within the survey.

Please note that even if music is not a big part of your school, your responses are incredibly helpful to us in understanding the national music landscape. In fact, we are particularly interested in the challenges around making music happen in schools, so if you find it difficult to build music into your school, your thoughts on this matter are extremely valuable to us.

This survey is in five sections with an optional sixth, which you should complete if you would like to be involved with our groundbreaking work into improving music education across the UK, or if you would like our support to help you think through your school's music offer. Please note that we may publicly share statistics from survey data, but this will be completely anonymised and neither you nor your school will be identifiable.
