Murray Basin Rail Project Artist Expression of Interest

Artist expressions of interest close 11:59pm Monday 6 November, 2023.

As part of the Murray Basin Rail Project, we are seeking an artist to develop a public artwork for an agricultural design that will be featured on a freight locomotive.

Evaluation of submissions will be based on the following selection criteria:

- Demonstrated understanding of the Artist Brief

- Response to themes

- Authenticity and originality

- Quality of work

- Experience delivering art projects and working collaboratively and capacity to work with project design and technical teams and stakeholders

- Primary residency or can demonstrate a strong connection to the north-western Victorian region (the highlighted area on the Murray Basin Rail Project scope map, Page 5 of the EOI Artist Brief).
