Bizerte Port

Ports have an essential role in the supply chain management. They connect land transport activities with sea related operations through cargo handling and added value services. The choice of a port, when sending a cargo from its originating port to its destination, directly affects the operational efficiency of the supply chain network. The logistic efficiency of a port influences the operator's choice when selecting a hub. This survey is being sent to you by the "Bizerte Port Consortium" (BPC). BPC is a local civil organization made of regional development associations, political parties, and non-governmental organizations such as the UGTT, UTICA, CONNECT, CCINE, AmCham Bizerte, CJD, and more.... Through this survey we would like to understand the daily decision making process followed by shippers, shipping lines, and other port users, leading to the selection of the right port. The findings from this research will be used to put together a model to guide our group in its preliminary study of the project. The aim of the questionnaire is to identify the right Tunisian site for the next port project in Tunisia.
The questionnaire consists of three parts; The first part asks for general respondent’s information. The second part is the core of the questionnaire; These first two parts can easily be completed in few minute. The third part is a one short multiple choice question.
