OVERVIEW: The College of Engineering, University of Dammam plans to offer a new full-time 05 years B.Sc. program in Energy Engineering. The program target objectives and related details are as provided below. 3. PROGRAM TARGETS: At the end of the program, graduates should be able to: a. Intergrade technical and scientific knowledge of energy system and engineering. b. Recognize and propose solutions to energy problem through effective energy management, problem solving and thinking skills. c. Utilize appropriate research methodologies, techniques and tools to produce work of scholarly quality. d. Communicate effectively through written and oral modes. e. Demonstrate high team working spirit and effective leadership quality in undertaking a wide range of group projects. f. Perpetually seek advanced knowledge and technology of energy engineering. g. Demonstrate high ethical standards in professional practice including environmental and social issues. h. Incorporate comprehensive knowledge of energy engineering in business thinking/entrepreneurship related decision making process.
