An Analysis on NUS Science Students Opinions towards the Introduction of Personal Finance module as a University Requirement

Dear Undergraduate,
We are students from the Faculty of Science. In this survey, we are interested in finding out the level of students financial knowledge and opinions towards the possible introduction of Personal Finance module as a University Requirement for our Professional Communication module. The objective of this survey is to gather your feedback so that we can assess your stand on this issue. If the results show that many of you agree to the idea of taking Personal Finance as a module, we may send a report to the Science Deans office for his consideration and further action.

Definition of Personal Financial Planning:
Personal Financial Planning refers to personal money management. This includes saving (cash budgeting), managing and investing in liquid assets, bond, stocks, unit trusts, hedge funds and property, insuring assets and planning ahead for retirement.
