firefighter retirement

This research survey is designed to gather information on firefighters, both active and retired, on retirement systems regarding the old 20 year plan and the new 28 year plan. Its results will be compiled and the data will be used to dictate the mental and physical health of the retiree depending upon which plan he or she retired on. Depending on data recovered and the findings of the research a proposal will be presented to the Great State of Arkansas regarding the benefits both fiscal and physical and will show preference to one retirement plan.
There will be no risk physically to the subjects involved in the survey. Furthermore there will be no fiscal risk in regards to the subject in retribution of opinions shown on this survey. All information will be considered private.
This survey is strictly on a volunteer basis. There is no penalty for nonparticipants. Also the only benefit will be that the information can be compiled and a recommendation can be made so that the health of the firefighters can be maintained regardless of years of service.
