IVANHOE Survey

Did you spend more time or less time reading the text of "The Sand-man" than if you were writing a paper about it? Was there anything different about the *way* you read the text? (More or less carefully, took more or fewer notes, etc.)

Did you do more or less writing than you would have for, say, a 5-6 page paper about the story?

Did you do more or less background research than you would have in preperation to write a 5-6 page paper about the story?

Did the social dimension of the game--the interactions with the other players--add to the experience, or were you basically going it alone?

Was the introduction to the game, including the Pope reading, useful in giving you some literary critical context for what you were doing?

If you were to see an IVANHOE assignment on a future syllabus for another class, would you shout and leap into the air or groan and bury your head in despair?

Do you have specific suggestions regarding the electronic interface? Bugs, quirks, glitches the developers should know about, or features you would like to see?
