Hello NCSPP Delegates,

The topic of the 2010 NCSPP annual Conference is Training for Integrated Healthcare. The Conference Committee is attempting to get a sense of what types of training on integrated healthcare are currently taking place in NCSPP programs.

We are defining Integrated Healthcare as: a service delivery system that incorporates behavioral care with medical care. The three broad goals for IHC are: 1) produce healthier patients; 2) create more cost effective services, and 3) remove barriers to accessing behavioral health treatment. Behavioral health providers (BHP's) are involved in numerous activities including screening patients for mental health problems, consulting with primary care providers on complex issues such as treatment adherence and health behavior change, and treating primary care patients with medical and/or behavioral health problems.

The survey will take approximately 3 minutes to complete. Since we are trying to get as much information as we can on the programs, do not worry if other delegates from your program are also responding to the survey.
