Dear colleague,
On behalf of the Trees4Future consortium and in the frame of prospective activities, Jo Van Brusselen from EFI and Andreas Kleinschmit von Lengefeld from FCBA invite you to collaborate for the compilation of a strategic innovation and research agenda (SIRA) for the fields of:
. forest biology (genetics, physiology, pathology, etc) + tree breeding
. forest ecology and management
. wood science
. wood technology
We both invite you to provide your expertise to assure the best coverage of knowledge within Europe in these very specific areas. We have only 4 precise questions to you!
The goal is to position these specific research activities and corresponding infrastructures within Europe on top position in a global context.
A stakeholder workshop is foreseen to take place in October 2015 at which we plan to discuss the findings with all interested experts. 10-15 selected experts will be invited to this workshop (travel expenses will be covered). They will be identified by the organising committee appointed by Trees4Future (
www.trees4future.eu
).
Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in aggregate form.
With best regards and thank you for your contribution!
Jo Van Brusselen and Andreas Kleinschmit von Lengefeld
