If I were to characterize my beliefs about the writings of the Bible, especially the first five Books of the Old Testament I would be best described as a:

Literalist: Meaning that these are all historical events, preserved by man, guided by God, and should always be interpreted literally, with little accommodation for my or anyone else’s interpretation.

Interpretist: Meaning that these are historical events, or God inspired stories, documented by man and guided by God, and that there may be instances when message may be more important the literal story.

In terms of our planned break midway through each meeting (7:30), what is your preference in regards to snacks?
