Behind every insight and successful user project, a great team contributes to making this happen. That is why at Work@QP, we love to show some of the magic behind the scenes. Today, we invite you to take your imagination on a trip to Mexico and meet Cristina Ortega, our own Marketing Manager at QuestionPro LATAM.
Cristina’s journey at QuestionPro began nearly seven years ago when she joined shortly after the Merida office opened its doors. Starting as a content writer for the spanish blog, Cristina quickly immersed herself in various activities within the marketing department, including email marketing, copywriting, scriptwriting, and any task that would contribute to making our product known in all Spanish-speaking countries.
As she has spent more than 7 years within the company, Cristina has had the opportunity to develop her skills and expand her responsibilities little by little until she became the Marketing Manager of our division in LATAM. A challenge that she undoubtedly continues to develop and overcome day by day with exceptional skill and with the help of an incredible team. We love a big move!
In both her personal and professional life, Cristina aspires to make a positive impact by being herself and giving her best to others. Professionally, she aims to be recognized for her contributions to projects, while personally, she strives to be a reliable source of support for those around her. And it shows!
“I would like to be recognized for what I bring to the project. Personally, I want to be someone you can rely on for everything.”
For Cristina, the flexibility of hybrid work has been a game-changer. This has given her the opportunity to travel and see magical places while staying connected and productive.
A fulfilling workday for Cristina is one where she progresses on her tasks and contributes to her team’s success. Beyond work, she prioritizes her mental health and dedicates time to herself and her loved ones.
As you may have noticed, Cristina is a professional in every sense of the word. From the beginning of her producing radio programs to today as the head of the marketing team, Cris has always been willing to contribute with her ideas and hard work so that the entire team achieves her goals.
However, each member of QuestionPro is much more than their role or their job; they also have interesting personalities and traits outside of the workplace. We invite you to look at some of Cristina’s traits that make her so unique.
Inspired by her mother’s strength and resilience, Cristina finds motivation in her family and their unconditional support.
When asked about her favorite food, she goes straight for the “chilaquiles verdes.” Can we blame her? No, we can’t. This dish holds a special place in her heart. Chilaquiles Verdes are a traditional Mexican dish made from fried corn tortilla pieces simmered in a green salsa made from tomatillos, chili peppers, cilantro, and other ingredients. Usually served topped with various garnishes such as crumbled cheese, sour cream, sliced onions, avocado slices, and sometimes a fried or scrambled egg. You get the idea.
In addition to creating amazing texts and discovering new restaurants, she is a big fan of the audiovisual world, so it is not strange that she loves watching series at home or going to the cinema regularly to see the latest movies.
What sets QuestionPro apart for Cristina is the constant opportunity for growth and learning. She appreciates the camaraderie among colleagues and the unwavering support she receives from the team.
The next challenge in Cristina’s career is to carry out the company’s annual event in its Latin American edition: XDAY LATAM 2024, a space where industry leaders will meet to share their experiences with hundreds of professionals and discoveries. We invite you to learn a little more about this event here, by the way!
Like many QuestionPro members, Cristina does her best to build a strong culture that allows us to provide the best of ourselves to our users. So thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about us.
