We need your help!

The University of Kentucky is currently engaged in a planning process to become less vulnerable to natural, manmade and technological disasters, and your participation is important to us! The University, along with partners, is working to update UK's Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of this Plan is to identify and assess the University community’s hazard risks and determine how to best minimize or manage those risks. Upon completion, the Plan will represent a comprehensive approach to managing hazards on campus.
This survey provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the mitigation planning process.  The information you provide will help us better understand your hazard concerns and help us identify mitigation activities that should help lessen the impact of future hazard events, including the impacts of climate change and variability. Please help us by completing this survey by February 8, 2023. You may start the survey now by clicking on the Next button below. All responses will be kept confidential and will only be used to inform UK’s Hazard Mitigation Plan and the associated planning process. If you have any questions regarding this survey or would like to learn about more ways you can participate in the development of the UK Hazard Mitigation Plan, please contact Laurel Wood, Director of Business Continuity, University of Kentucky Police Department, laurel.wood@uky.edu.
