I am currently a 4th year BScHons Construction Management student at Nelson Mandela University (NMU) and busy undertaking my research study and I am required to submit a treatise based upon the research. The research study is investigating ‘The impact of the implementation of artificial intelligence in the construction industry’ in the Republic of South Africa in partial fulfilment of my honours degree.
I kindly request that you take the time and respond to the questions contained in this survey which is aimed at improving performance on construction projects through artificial intelligence in the Republic of South Africa. Completing the survey should not take more than 10 to 15 minutes.
This specific survey is mainly concerned with general contractors who are ECMBA members within the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area, Eastern Cape and their perceptions with respect to artificial intelligence changing and impacting the way buildings and structures are constructed in the city of Qheberha, South Africa.
Please note that all information provided by the respondents will be handled with the utmost discretion and that confidentiality will be respected at all times.
