17. Here's how dry eye affects my driving or riding In many climates, you need either air conditioning or heating in your car at least half of the year. This  means dry, blowing air... which is never our friend. Bikers/cyclists also have to deal with any wind that their windproof sunglasses or goggles aren't filtering out.
