Scheduler is another way to automate the members import and export process. You need to provide the FTP details while scheduling the Import/Export feature. With the scheduler in place, Communities will read the excel files to be imported. You can even get the members' data exported at your FTP location periodically. Set the scheduler and wait for it to run.

To set up the import, go to – Login >> Communities >> Community >> Members >> Schedulers
Click on Add Auto-scheduler button
Click on the Test Connection button. If all the details provided are valid and correct, you will be able to save the scheduler else not.
Now, once the connection is verified, you may add other details like - Setting up the Frequency, Day and Time. Click on "Save" to create the Import Scheduler.
Once the FTP is created, you need to create the members' file and upload it in the FTP location.
You can download the members' import template by clicking on the "Download Template" option. It will give you a sample file in which you need to fill the memebrs' details and put in the FTP location.
After creating the FTP scheduler, you need to upload the sample member file in the FTP location.
After uploading the sample member file in the FTP location, you can click on 'Run Now' to test the connection.
If the connection is successful, the system will import the members' from the sample contact file and delete the file from the FTP location.
Once the FTP is run successfully, go to Members List and check the imported members.
Yes, you can edit and suspend the scheduler.
To edit the scheduler, hover on the row, click on 3 dots, and then click on Edit and make the changes you want in the scheduler.
Similarly, if you want to suspend the schedular, click on the Suspend button.
Yes, if you do not want to suspend but delete the schedular, you can do so by hovering over the row, click on the Bin icon and the schedular will be deleted.
No, there is no specific naming convention in the the members' file needs to be uploaded.
Only make sure the data in the file is in the same format as of the sample file.
You can upload n number of files in the FTP location at a time. The scheduler will read each file one by one and import the contact from the file.

Once the system processes the file(s) from the FTP location and upload the contact details, it deletes the file from the location.
After the transaction file is processed, the bad/invalid transactions are shared on the same FTP location in an Excel file. You can pick the file from there. Also, if any such file remains on FTP location, it will not get imported back in the system.
Go to the "Scheduler Export" section. Click on the Add Auto-Scheduler
