Survey Preview Options

When you're done creating your survey, you can use the survey preview options to check it out, preview it, and make changes to the survey elements.

To use survey preview options please follow the steps below:

• Go to Login >> Survey >> Edit
• Click on the Preview button on the top right.


• A new tab will open with the survey preview. There, you'll find a section with multiple options on the top left of the survey preview: Select Block, URL Variables, Validations, Logics, and Page Breaks. With these options, you can modify the settings and preview the survey.

• Select Block: Users can view the list of survey blocks using this drop-down menu and select the block they want to preview. This option is not available on the survey preview if there is only one block in the survey.


• URL Variables: This option allows the user to enter a value for any custom variable and preview the survey with the most recent inputs. This option can be used to test custom variables-based logics and preview the custom variable data within the questions or answer options.


• Validations: The user can test the survey flow and enable or disable all of the question validations in the survey by using this toggle.


• Logics: The user can test the survey flow and enable or disable all logics in the survey by using this toggle.


• Page Breaks: The user can preview the survey on a single page and enable or disable all page breaks from the survey using this toggle. This option will not remove the page breaks introduced by any question logic or multi-step questions.

Yes, using the options on the top right of the survey preview, you can change the layout from the desktop to tablet or mobile view.
