To download a SPSS file of your data, go to: My Surveys (Select Survey) » Analytics
Under Manage Data click on the Export option.
Scroll down to the Statistical Package Export (SPSS) section.
Here you can select the required settings for the export and click on Download to export the file.
Following settings or controls are available for customization when exporting to SPSS.
Include Raw Data: You can choose to include raw data and select either Display Answer Codes/Index or Display Answer Values
Legacy Export: Use this toggle to export SPSS file with older file format.
Display Question Code in Variable Name: By default, auto-generated SPSS variable names are used when exporting data. Select this toggle to use question codes instead of auto-generated variable names. Click here to learn more about SPSS variable names
Display Question Code instead of Text: Select this toggle if you want to Display Question Index Instead of Variable Name. By default, the question numbers appear as variables (var1, var2, etc.). Checking this box will replace var1 with Q1, var2 with Q2, etc.
Show Question Not Displayed: Hidden questions will be exported using a Dot (.) representation.
Represent Unselected Checkboxes with '0': By default, check boxes that are not selected are blank. Selecting this toggle will display a 0 instead of blank.
Display Report Labels: If you have long question or answer text, you can use report labels instead of the long text.
Include Open-Ended Text Data: Open-ended text type data will be exported along with close ended data.
Include Geo Code & Additional Info: Select this toggle to export meta data collected along with respondents feedback.
Include Randomization Data: Enable this toggle if you wish to see randomization order if you are using block randomization.
Language Data Filter: By default, all language responses will be exported. You can select if you wish to download data for particular language when using multilingual surveys.
Display Lanugage: Selct the primary language for exporting the data. Questions and answers will be in the selected language.
Data Filters: By defalt, entire data is exported. You can chose specific filters for time or response status to export filtered data.
In the SPSS file, We represent the not answered options of multiselect question type with "." which is the standard representation in SPSS.
For SPSS report the limit is set to 10,000 characters for a comment box question type, and 500 characters for other open ended question types.
